CBC. William Maltby, b. July 6, 1703, Saybrook (John 2, Wm. 1).He is believed to have died unmarried as he is not mentioned in his father's will of March 11, 1727. I think this should be proof that he was not living in 1727. However, there is a Philadelphia, Penn. Record of the marriage Nov. 12, 1728, of William Maultbey and Dorothy Stegleigh." (Possibly he was a descendant of the emigrant brother, Robert Maltby).
